Yellowstone Beauty

We had three days in Yellowstone. Just a chance to scratch the surface really! The scenery and wildlife was amazing. Old Faithful is a must, so we made sure to get there. We really enjoyed the sulfur springs, turquoise water and the colorful sponge geysers. Lots, and I mean lots, of buffalo. They are big close up! We hiked up Purple Mountain on our second day. A 6 mile day hike and 2000 foot elevation gain, with a spectacular view at the top. A good warm-up! The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and the upper and lower falls were amazing.
